Did you ever wonder how to temporarily suppress incoming notifications on your Mac, such as those that might arrive through Messages? Simply closing the Messages app doesn't work, as many a screen-sharer has learned.
Here's how: Click on the notification center icon on the upper right of your screen, and then two-finger swipe downward to expose the do not disturb toggle.
